Meet the members!Paul Loredo
Nancy Gilman Marfisi
Nancy earned her Bachelor degree from the University of Nevada-Reno and her Master of Music degree from
USC. She plays regularly with the Redlands Symphony, Chamber Orchestra of St.
Matthew's, and the Hour of Power Orchestra. She is an instructor at California Lutheran University,
The Children's Music Workshop and maintains a private studio at her home.
Sarah Beck
Sarah Beck finished her Master of Fine Arts degree at the
California Institute of the Arts in May of 1998. While attending CalArts she
studied oboe with Allan Vogel. Ms. Beck is currently the English horn player
for the Santa Barbara Symphony. She is also a very active freelance musician,
participating in operas, chamber music concerts, and symphonic performances
throughout Southern California with orchestras such as the Los Angeles
Philharmonic and San Diego Symphony. Sarah is originally from Ohio, and
received her Bachelor of Music degree, magna cum laude, from the University of
Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Her teacher there was Sara Lambert
Bloom.
Peter Nevin
Peter Nevin received his Master of Music degree from USC in 1990. As a freelance clarinetist he has performed with the Pacific Symphony, Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, Riverside County Philharmonic, and the Los Angeles Master Chorale Sinfonia. He is the principal clarinetist of the Fresno Philharmonic and a member of the San Bernardino Symphony. David Sarachene
David received his undergraduate degree in Education from Bowling Green State University, and taught for two years before continuing his performance studies from Indiana University. While completing a Master of Music degree from Indiana, David served as the Associate Instructor of Bassoon.
Performing with the Santa Monica Chamber Orchestra for the Summer European Tours
of 2003, 2004, and 2005, David was featured as soloist for the 2005 tour
throughout Northern Italy. He has performed with the National Repertory Orchestra, the National Orchestral Institute, as well as regional orchestras in the Los Angeles area, including the Riverside County Philharmonic,
the New West Symphony, and the Chamber Orchestra of St. Matthew's with whom he
has also appeared as a soloist.
